Hand Foot in Mouth
How many times can you build a Duplo tower only to watch someone else's kid kick it down?
Meet Bronte. She’s 23, back in Brisbane after her entire life unravelled at the base of a Brunswick gum tree. In a desperate attempt to find some semblance of normalcy, she takes another crack at her high school babysitting job for the Friggett family. But the three children she waved goodbye to at 18 are now entirely different beasts.
The pre-teen daughter mists herself hourly with Impulse: Self-Loathing, while the boys she once toilet-trained now defiantly piss at her feet. She is no longer “Bronte.” She is: “NOT MY MUM!”
"Hand Foot in Mouth" is a raucous, raw one-woman show and live DJ set.
You can't put an hourly price on love and care... or can you?
