Get ready for big laughs, bold choices, and total chaos (the fun kind).

Murderfist brings you a high-energy, long-form improv comedy show inspired by your favourite songs. Using the “Pretty Flower” format, they’ll spin a grounded, ongoing scene that keeps getting hilariously interrupted by fast, playful tag-out scenes, think Community meets Family Guy.

Made up of five Melbourne-based performers (regulars at The Improv Conspiracy), Murderfist was born out of an improv class in 2024 and quickly became something special. With electric chemistry, delightfully goofy humour, and a genuine love for performing together, this is a team that knows how to have fun, and make you part of it.

Every show is completely made up on the spot, so anything can happen... and it usually does!

Presenting Artist or Company

Murderfist was formed in 2024 after a Level 2 improv class focused on characters and relationships. It was there the group discovered a shared instinct for building rich, layered characters and creating genuine connection on stage. Two years later, those foundations are the reason their performances feel so cohesive, dynamic, and alive.

Kari, Finn, Anders, Fiachra and Josh thrive on trust, strong connection, and a shared love of being playful and silly together. That chemistry extends beyond the stage, allowing them to take bold risks and create spontaneous, engaging comedy.

At its core, Murderfist’s mission is to foster a sense of community through laughter. They embrace the unpredictability of improv, inviting audiences into the joy of the unknown. For them, comedy isn’t just about laughs, it’s about bringing people together, moment by moment.
